UO Bean Hall

1695 E 15th Ave, Eugene, OR 97403

Originally built in the 1960s, Bean Hall had a long-standing reputation as one of the least desirable dorms on campus. As part of the design-assist renovation and expansion, we provided comprehensive plumbing upgrades to modernize the student housing and community spaces, transforming the facility into a comfortable and efficient living environment.

Our scope of work included:

  • Full replacement of outdated plumbing infrastructure, including new domestic water supply lines and DWV (drain, waste, and vent) systems.
  • Restroom reconfigurations and fixture upgrades to improve functionality, water efficiency, and accessibility for students.
  • Laundry room plumbing enhancements, ensuring reliable hot and cold water supply and proper drainage for high-use areas.
  • Community space plumbing installations, including shared kitchen areas, hydration stations, and utility rooms.
  • High-efficiency water heating systems to provide consistent hot water to dorm rooms and common areas.

By delivering modern, code-compliant plumbing solutions, we helped revitalize Bean Hall, improving both student experience and building efficiency while ensuring long-term reliability.
